Body Care Products To Hydrate, Exfoliate & Tone
We often neglect the skin on our body and focus that attention on our face. But we mustn’t forget to care for our body and keep that skin soft, smooth and hydrated. I have very dry skin so I have to moisturize every day or I will turn into a crocodile. I have a few things I like to do BEFORE I moisturize that really helps lock in that hydration. These are ALL the products I use to keep my skin silky smooth, toned, hydrated, dewy, exfoliated and healthy!!! I do not use all of these products everyday obviously, lol. But all of these products are a part of my body care routine throughout the week .

Conscious Coconut Dry Brush- This is the dry brush I use and I have had it for years but there are so many on the market and I think they are all pretty similar. The point is the act of dry brushing your skin and the incredible benefits this process gives. Dry brushing promotes circulation, flushes out toxins, increases blood flow, exfoliates skin and helps texture. I do this 3-5x a week before my shower. Shop
365 Hydrating Unscented Body Wash- I have re-purchased this probably 10x. It’s a clean, paraben free body wash that foams up beautifully, has a subtle smell and is a great price for a large 32oz bottle. It has a nice rich lather and is great if you have sensitive skin. Shop
Eco Tools Exfoliating Gloves- This is one of my favorite things to use in the shower. Especially before I shave. This is one of the tools I use during my “everything” shower. It is such an invigorating experience washing your body with these gloves. You will feel tingly, smooth and refreshed. For extra exfoliation, I use these after the dry brush. Shop
Earth Therapeutics Pumice Stone- If you follow me on Instagram, you will know I like to do my own manicure and pedicures at home. And a very important tool for a good pedicure is a pumice stone. There are many on the market, but I like this one because it has a handle, which makes it much easier to use. I add a little bit of body wash on the pumice stone and then use it on the bottom of my feet. Shop
Neutrogena Fragrance Free Shower Oil- If you have dry skin, you must and I repeat MUST try applying a body oil while you are in the shower BEFORE you get out! This is one of my best tips for dry skin. While your skin is still warm and wet from the shower you apply a soothing oil. This one is great cause it is very light weight and intended for the shower. I apply this all over and then once I get out of the shower I apply lotion to lock all the moisture in. These two are a perfect marriage for dry skin. Trust me, I have tried so many lotions and oils. Naturium Body Lotion- I am so picky when it comes to body lotions. I don’t want it to thick, oily, tacky, smelly, etc. This one, IMO, is absolutely perfect. Hubby approves too. It has no scent, has a pump, has a nice emollient base to it so it glides over your skin easily and the most important part is it soaks in immediately. I don’t know about you but I cannot stand the feeling of lotion on me. Side note, Naturium has great facial care products too. Shop
Weleda Cellulite Oil- I have been using this oil after I get out of the shower a few times a week. This is not a miracle worker by any means, but I have noticed the cellulite on my legs is smoother and more toned. No body care product is going to completely remove cellulite. Shop
Summer Fridays Pool Time Oil- I actually received this free with another purchase I made from them and it is so nice. It smells like Summer. Think coconuts. It has the most beautiful gold shimmer too so its perfect for the warmer months when you are showing your arms and legs. Shop
Savannah Bee Company Hand Cream- This hand cream is special and what makes it special, is it’s ability to hydrate dry cracked skin immediately and not leave a sticky, oily film afterwards. I don’t know if anyone else is annoyed by greasy hands but I cannot stand it. I want to be able to grab my steering wheel, my phone, whatever it may be without leaving residue everywhere. Harry’s 5 Blade Razor- This razor will give you dolphin skin. My husband and I decided to try Harry’s razors a couple of years ago and haven’t looked back since switching over. With 5 sharp blades, this shaving tool gives you a very close cut. I’m pretty sure these these are men’s razors but honestly, men’s razors are far superior to women’s and I have always used men’s.
