Clean And Healthier Perfume Options

Hi friends!

If you know me, you know I love perfumes. I typically go for one of these most days and save my more expensive/designer ones for special occasions. So what is a clean perfume? Brands that have transparent ingredients and ethical standards. Cruelty free, paraben free, vegan, and with overall less presavatives and toxins. Also, if you have particularly sensitive skin or senses you might prefer a more natural option when it comes to wearing fragrance. Each of these brands offers a variety of scents within their collection, so you can find one you connect with. That’s my favorite thing about fragrance, it invokes a memory or a feeling, a connection to something. It’s my final step to my “getting ready” routine in the morning and even on days I don’t go anywhere, I still wear something.

NEMAT ARTISAN PERFUMERY

Nemat makes fine perfume sprays and oils that last literally all day. Vanilla musk is my favorite but they have 20 unique scents to choose from if vanilla isn’t your thing. Ranging from woodsy, floral, spicy, and musk. These are vegan, cruelty free and Paraben free. I love to mix these and truly you can create your signature scent. I have a couple vintage perfume bottles that I use to hold these oils. Perfumes smell a little different on everybody’s skin so by mixing a few you create your personal scent. I like to use vanilla musk, amber musk and lavender together.

KUUMBA MADE

Cruelty free and women owned since 1980. When I tell you these will last on your skin all day, I mean ALL day! Sometimes I smell lingering fragrance after I shower or in my hair days later. These also come in perfume oils and sprays. Persian Garden is a personal favorite. It’s calming and alluring with notes of warm florals, ocean air, and light amber. I have gifted these at one point to all the special woman in my life. I love that there are so many different scents to choose from and that you can find a perfect fit for a thoughtful gift. These are so convenient for travel too. They come in small 1.7 ml and have a rollerball application. So easy to throw in your bag or pocket.

TULIP

A cheers to yourself everyday. Champagne. Also known as “the bubbly muse”. This scent is the definition of feminine and fresh. Top Notes are sparkling Violet, middle notes, jasmine and white peony and bottom notes apple and suede. Champagne is my go to “clean” scent. I feel so classy when I am wearing this. Vegan, phthalate free, cruelty free, no harsh preservatives, no sulfates and no parabens. They have 6 different scents in their collection. The packaging is so aesthetically pleasing, minimal and chic.

AURIC BLENDS

If you try anything from Auric Blends go for Love. Love is warm, slightly spicy, and my go to winter fragrance. It is so cozy and comforting while also being sophisticated and feminine. I like to get this in the spray but they have tons of perfume oils too. This brand also makes amazing incenses. I think it’s such a cute Valentine’s day gift! Egyptian Goddess is another popular scent from them. Love is actually elements of Egyptian Goddess and white amber, so they share similarities.

HENRY ROSE

I purchased the trial kit of these which includes all 11 scents for $45. If a brand offers trial sizes that is the best way to test out which scent you love before you commit. Honestly, I love all of them. But Jake’s House and Char are my absolute top picks. I recently listened to Michelle Pfeiffer on The Skinny Confidential Podcast where she dives into creating Henry Rose, her why and how it came about. I discovered this brand online through a blog like 4 years ago and have loved them ever since. Henry Rose is cruelty free, hypoallergenic, no parabens, no phthalates, and no formaldehyde. The best thing about this brand, besides that everything smells amazing is the fact the each of the scents in gender neutral which is great for a couple. Me and hubby share a lot of our scents.

Since Valentine’s day is coming up, these are some great gift options. Or of course a great little gift for yourself. You deserve it. If you have tried any of these, let me know your favorites. If you have other clean perfume brands you love, please DM me too. I am always looking for new niche brands.

Till next week,

XO
