Hi friends, I just did a candle restock for the house and while I was setting them up in their new space, I got to thinking. I have used so many great candles over the years and thought I would share my favorite brands that I have gone back to over and over, and are forever apart of my collection.

Not all candles are created equally. A lot of candle companies use paraffin wax which can cause sensitivities and are burning toxic chemicals into the air. After using clean wax candles for years, I’ve noticed such a difference with my allergies. Clean waxes typically consistent of coconut, soy, palm or beeswax. These not only burn cleanly they provide less toxins that flow into your air. If you get headaches or allergy symptoms when burning candles, it might be worth it to try something different. I like to always have a candle or two burning at a time so I want to make sure I am choosing safe options for my home.

Clean candles also typically use essential oils to add fragrance. Most candles use toxic and artificial fragrances that can cause sensitivities, just like the wax. I want to share all the clean candles brands I have tried over the years. I love each of these brands. All of these brands have the most beautiful vessels to choose from in addition to offering incredible scents.

A candle is a small act of self-care, a thoughtful gift and the best way to warm up your space. So save this list for future candle purchases, you will not be disappointed.
