The Cutest Cat Cafe in Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Back in July my sister was visiting me from Florida. Before her arrival I was doing some research on different places I wanted to bring her to. I knew I wanted to do something unique and creative, that we would both love. I had heard of cat cafes before and started looking up locations in my general area because we both have a cat and love them so much. They are just so cute, warm your soul and instantly elevate your mood.
A cat cafe is a quaint cozy cafe that also has cats. Pretty self explanatory. I found one not too far from my house located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina called Cat Tales Cat Cafe. From my research most cat cafes offer coffee, teas, maybe some snacks along with the cats that you can spend quality time with, pet, play, and possibly adopt. As someone who loves cats and coffee very much, this concept was genius to me. Sipping my coffee whilst cuddling with kittens? Yes, please, sign me up!
This place was adorable. If you need a little mood boost, this is it! This location in particular is not a true cafe with ready to make drinks but, they offered cold beverages that were grab and go style. The vibe here was perfect and the staff was very kind. There is an admission of $12 per person for 1 hour spent with these furry cuties. There were about 12 different cats here. Each one very different with their own personalities and all up for adoption. We were not in market for a cat, but it is nice to know that, that is offered. I would love to come back when, in the future we are looking for a new baby.
